What is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Big Deal Days is making its return in October, offering Prime members exclusive access to holiday deals across a number of popular categories.
This is the third time that Amazon hosts a Prime Day-style event during the fall season. Back in 2022, Amazon held Prime Early Access Sale as a way to give shoppers a head start on holiday shopping. In 2023, they renamed the October savings event to Prime Big Deal Days.
Prime members can expect comparable or even better deals than what was seen during Prime Day back in July, giving Prime members the ability to save while shopping for the holidays.
Prime Big Deal Days will take place in 19 countries, which includes the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.
How long is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2024 will take place from Oct. 8 through Oct. 9. The sales event will span 48 hours, just like Prime Day events of the past.
In 2022, Prime Early Access Sale took place from Oct. 11-12. In 2023, Prime Big Deal Days took place from Oct. 10-11.
Do I need a Prime membership for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Big Deal Days 2024 will be exclusive to Prime members, so yes, you need a Prime membership to participate.
The cost of a Prime membership is $14.99 per month or $139 per year if you pay annually.
Young adults (ages 18 to 24) and college students can sign up for Prime for Young Adults with a six-month trial, then pay only $7.49 per month or $69 per year.
Amazon says qualifying government assistance recipients can try Prime Access for 30 days before paying $6.99 per month.
Are there other sales happening at other brands and retailers?
