The ambassador of El Salvador to the United States, Milena Mayorga, highlighted the historic reduction in homicides, thanks to the actions carried out within the framework of the Territorial Control Plan and the War Against Gangs.
And since the implementation of security measures, El Salvador has recorded 580 days with zero murders nationwide, consolidating itself as the safest country in the Western Hemisphere.
“I applaud the State decision of our President Nayib Bukele, his security strategy is another of the proven solutions,” highlighted the ambassador.
The effort, commitment, courage and determination of the Law Enforcement Forces have allowed Salvadoran families to enjoy an environment of peace and tranquility, which had been taken away by gangs years ago.
Currently, El Salvador has become an international benchmark in terms of security and frontal combat against criminal structures. It has also become one of the tourist and investment destinations for foreigners.
