As part of the work carried out by the Government of President Nayib Bukele, in favor of the academic development of the population, the Ambassador of El Salvador in Washington, Milena Mayorga, reported on the opportunities for Salvadorans to apply for a scholarship to study abroad.
The Diplomat indicated that the United States embassy in El Salvador is in charge of making the calls to begin the process of selecting scholarships in different academic areas. These benefits have been obtained thanks to the efforts of the Salvadoran Government.
This support for youth will offer low-income students the opportunity to pursue higher education studies and improve their quality of life. An example of this has been the “Roque Dalton” Presidential scholarships, which provide complete support for young people such as: Payment of academic fees from registration, monthly payment for the university, registration process expenses, internships, laboratories, among others. others.
Milena Mayorga stressed that, to qualify for these study opportunities, in addition to having good grades, the young person must present leadership skills and a “life project” for himself and his family. All information about the scholarships can be found on the website www.esco.gob.sv.
