Ukrainian police say American video journalist Brent Renaud has been killed in Irbine as Russian forces have been on the offensive for the third week in a row.
According to a statement issued by the Ukrainian police: –
Brent Renovt, a 51-year-old American journalist who was filming news and video, has been killed as Russian forces continue to attack Irfin, a suburb of the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Two more journalists have been admitted to hospital with gunshot wounds.

Work is currently underway to take his body out of the war zone. The New York Times, which has confirmed the death of Brent Renault, has announced the loss of an award-winning filmmaker and journalist.
It also called on journalists covering the ongoing Russian military offensive in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis to cover their work safely.
It is noteworthy that Brent Renaud was involved in filming and videotaping asylum seekers to protect themselves from the onslaught of Russian forces.
