But in the world of music: American singer and actor “Meat Loop” passed away tonight at the age of 74 – this was stated this morning (Friday) in a statement posted on his official Facebook page. His death comes after a long period in which he struggled with various health problems, and the announcement said that the cause of death would not be revealed at the request of the family.

Mitt Luff, born Marvin Lee Eddie, began his career in the 1970s and enjoyed widespread success in the 1980s and 1990s in which he sold hundreds of millions of albums worldwide. His album “Bat Out of Hell” has sold more than 43 million copies, and is still ranked as one of the top ten best-selling albums in the world alongside albums by Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Pink Floyd. At the same time Mitt Luff was a great success on stage, participating in the original version of the musical “Hair” as well as in the famous film “The Rocky Movie Show”.

In recent years, his health has deteriorated. In 2003 he collapsed on stage during a performance in London and was taken to hospital – where he was found to be suffering from a health problem that causes an irregular heartbeat. In 2013 he said he would reduce the frequency of his performances due to his excess weight, and his last performance was in 2016 – where he collapsed on stage again, this time as a result of dehydration.
