An American TikTok star followed by nearly a million subscribers and accused of killing his ex-wife and a man she was with, pleaded not guilty in court Monday in San Diego.

Ali Abulaban allegedly installed spyware on his five-year-old daughter’s tablet in order to spy on his ex-wife’s conversations. When he heard her talking to another man, he went to the apartment, killed her and the man there, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Still in possession of the gun, the Tiktoker picked up his daughter from school as if nothing had happened, District Attorney Taren Jessica Brast said.

Details were revealed during an appearance in San Diego County Superior Court on Monday.

Ali Abulaban has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder as well as allegations of special circumstances linked to multiple murders, the local newspaper reported.

Ali Abulaban, 29, is a TikTok star known as JinnKid, with over 940,000 subscribers.

He is known for his comedy sketches and impersonations of Tony Montana’s character from the movie Scarface. Abulaban’s lawyer did not comment on the allegations during the hearing.

Police identified the victims as Ana Abulaban, 28, of San Diego and Rayburn Cadenas Barron, 29, of National City.

About two dozen family members and friends of the two victims attended the court appearance.

The prosecutor said Ali Abulaban confessed to the murders to detectives and accused his wife of cheating on him. However, the prosecutor clarified that he was probably a friend.

The victim Ana Abulaban asked her husband to leave his apartment on October 18. Three days later, he sneaked into his ex’s apartment and ransacked it while his wife was away. He also installed the listening app on his daughter’s iPad.
