(24 News) Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Naeemur Rehman has said that we are fighting a peaceful constitutional struggle, obstacles should not be placed in our way. Go and give relief to the people.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while speaking at Chongi No. 26 said that we have come to hold a sit-in for the people. This is a battle for the rights of the people. Let them participate, they said that we are fighting a peaceful constitutional struggle, obstacles should not be placed in our way.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that people’s blood is being squeezed in the name of capacity charges, workers’ houses were raided, IPPs are imposed on the country, crores of rupees are consumed, relief should be given to the people by reducing the electricity prices. He said that the sit-in has just been announced and the workers have come for a great cause.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the government is a product of Form 47. Hundreds of workers were arrested from Islamabad as well. And they did not come to ask for anything for themselves, the electric bombs being dropped on the people were not accepted. That stop the IPPs, our next stop will be on Murree Road, there will be sit-ins from Karachi to Chitral.
