Amira Pocher spoke openly about the divorce hearing with Oliver Pocher. “Things were said that were below the belt.”
At the end of July, Amira and Oliver Pocher met again in court. The ex-couple are getting divorced after almost five years of marriage. However, the divorce is not yet legally binding and the papers still have to be served. Now, a week after the appointment, the 31-year-old speaks in her podcast “Liebes Leben” about, among other things, the hour and a half in the courtroom.
Amira Pocher says that she had had a “queasy feeling” days beforehand. She had pushed the date aside for a long time. “I’m a master at running away,” said the presenter. Then came the day of the divorce, July 29. Things quickly became emotional in the courtroom. After 90 seconds she was crying, she told her brother Hima Aly.
In the courtroom she also met Oliver Pocher and his lawyer, whom she knew from before. “I saw his lawyer for the first time in years. She had also drawn up our marriage contract,” said Amira Pocher. Then she had clear words to say about the lawyer: “I never want to see that woman again in my life.”
As soon as she thinks of the lawyer, she “gets her pulse racing again.” She had previously written to Amira Pocher accusing her of “marketing” their children. She also said that her “changing relationships” were not something her offspring could be expected to deal with. The lawyer also accused her of a trip to Rome “with her new lover” without her two sons, she says. This was her long-planned child-free weekend. The lawyer suggested that the children should move in with their father. “So many personal things were mentioned that were just below the belt.”
According to Amira Pocher, Oliver Pocher’s lawyer also attacked her in court. She called her an “actress” after she stopped crying and reacted angrily to an accusation. “The tears disappear quickly,” the lawyer said.
The divorce hearing was about checking what Amira Pocher was entitled to financially. After the separation, she left everything with Oliver Pocher. She even bought new toys for the children. The “shitstorm” that her ex unleashed on her after the separation also cost her several jobs. The 46-year-old explained in his podcast that in the end he was always the one who paid. But according to Amira Pocher, none of the money arrived. “Maybe he gave the wrong account,” she says, laughing.
According to the presenter, both parties found a “cool solution for the children” in court. However, she did not give any details. An agreement was only reached after the “sooo nice” judge sent the lawyers out. Then there were tears and laughter between the ex-couple.
In the podcast, the siblings suddenly rave about Oliver Pocher’s humor, which he uses to lighten up even difficult situations. Nevertheless, for Amira Pocher, the divorce felt like “a second separation.” She now hopes for a more peaceful future. And even dreams of a “patchwork vacation” with her ex and all the children.
