Amit Aharoni (Director of the National League)
Urban Ness Ziona strengthens the back line. Coordinator Amit Aharoni (1.87, 20), who played last season for Elitzur Netanya in the national league, has signed with the club for the next two years. Aharoni is part of the broad staff of the reserve team, which will play in the European Championship in Montenegro this coming July.
The young coordinator grew up in the youth department of Maccabi Tel Aviv and won the national championship twice with the youth team. In the last two years he played for Elitzur Netanya in the national league, and in the first season he reached the finals with the Yellows from the Sharon. Last season, he reached the quarterfinals of the playoffs with Netanya, during which he averaged 9.6 points and 4.1 assists per game.
