Amit Segal’s replacement: A few months ago, the new “Meet the Press” program was launched on Saturday night on Channel 12. The program, which is now led by Amit Segal and Ben Caspit, had to be changed this week due to the birth of Amit Segal this week.

The replacement of Amit Segal in the show
The one called El Degel is none other than the other knitted reporter of News 12, Yair Sharki. In a Twitter post, Yair Sharkey wrote: “A colleague is on maternity leave, so I was called to hold Ben’s hand. Meet the press, we start right away. Come.” As mentioned, Segal announced this week the birth of his and his wife Reut’s first daughter, a sister to Levri and Aner. The political commentator posted a photo alongside a quote from the famous song “Bereshit” by Gabi Shoshan.
