Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has told how he was in studies and how many marks he got in BSc the next year after failing. In his show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’, he also told that he realized his mistake only after sitting in a lecture. Amitabh, who graduated from Kirori Mal College in Delhi, revealed in ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ that he got only 42 percent marks in BSc.

‘What we had learnt in 10 years got finished in 45 minutes’

He said, “I also completed B.Sc without knowing what it entails. I applied after getting good marks in science. In the first lecture itself, I realized that I had made a big mistake.” Amitabh further said, “Whatever I had learnt in 10 years about the scope of science, he finished it in 45 minutes.” He said that he had failed the first time.

Amitabh, who obtained the degree of ‘Bachelor of Science’ in the year 1962, said, ‘I failed in the first attempt, but when I went and answered the question again, I barely got 42 per cent and was saved.’

In the year 1969, Amitabh started his film journey as a voice narrator in Mrinal Sen’s National Award winning film ‘Bhuvan Shome’. After this, he acted as an actor in the film ‘Saat Hindustani’ in the year 1969.
