President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) delivered the Military Air Base Number (BAM) 20 of Tulum, Quintana Roo4 months after appointing its commander.
The president himself announced the above on his X account (@lopezobrador_) in which he wrote:
“In addition, in the Tulum International Airport We visited Military Air Base Number 20 of the Secretary of National Defensewhich has already come into operation.”
The above, as reported by the President, as part of his evaluation of the construction and operation of the 7 sections of the Mayan Train that covers 1,554 kilometers.

The announcement by the head of the Executive comes almost 4 months after the Wing General y Airplane pilot, Cuauhtémoc Delgado Monteagudo render protest, possession of office and flag protest as responsible for said BAM, as reported by local media.
Delgado Monteagudo, before taking office at the General Brigadier Aviator Pilot base Samuel Carlos Rojas Rassowas in charge of BAM Number 3, El Ciprés, Baja California.
