President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) made a recommendation to the virtual president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaumduring his visit to Guerrero.
During the inauguration of the Las Cruces-Pinotepa Nacional highway from Cuajinicuilapa, Guerrero, AMLO recommended Claudia Sheinbaum to give continuity to the construction companies that rehabilitated said federal highway, because “they delivered.”

Lopez Obrador said that Sheinbaum should take into account construction companies who worked on the expansion of the Las Cruces-Pinotepa Nacional highway, as a recognition, because they “delivered.”
And AMLO said that if they already have the machinery in the area, he considered that it would be a good option for them to be invited to the tender for the road in Marquelia. Although he clarified that the procedure must be completely legal.
“Now that we were stopped on the road for a road, which was a commitment, Claudia also gave instructions for that road to be put out to tender and I think that the companies that worked on the expansion of this road should be taken into account, because they complied and that the tender should be made, everything legal, but if they already have the machinery here, if they are going to put out to tender that road, then these companies should be invited, also, as a recognition because they complied.”

Reform states that The ASF reported anomalies in the worksuch as overpayments of 940 million pesos, poor planning, programming and budgeting.
