The head of the state Executive pointed out that the inauguration of the seven works of the Asipona, such as the Guaymas-Chihuahua highway, the construction of the Multiple Use Dock, Mineral Warehouse, modernization of the railway circuit, the Guaymas Tourist Marina yard, rehabilitation of Aquiles Serdán Avenue, rehabilitation of the Plaza Tres Presidentes, are an example of all the support that the Government of Mexico has given to Sonora.

During this working tour, the reopening of the Guaymas Airportwhich will improve the port’s connectivity, making it more attractive for tourism development and the arrival of more investments.
President López Obrador highlighted the management of Governor Durazo Montaño at the head of the state administration, which has translated into great investments for the benefit of the people of Sonora.

In this regard, the president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo He mentioned that by constitutionally beginning his federal management, he will continue the big projects that are being carried out in the state, with the well-being of citizens as their main focus.
“Here is a piece of land in Empalme that belonged to National Railwayswe are going to give that land to the Navy so that the Port of Guaymas can continue, with an addition, because just as the president made social programs he recovered the railroads, the trains in the south, now we are going to go north, we are going to bring the railroad to Nogales,” he commented.
