  • Voicemail: This involves requesting an installation code by calling. This is done mainly at night, so that the account owner does not answer and the message is channeled to the voicemail. Therefore, the scammers access it, which is rarely protected with a password.
  • Screen sharing: Supposed friends, family members or companies trick victims into setting up a video call, then use arguments to request that they share their phone screen so that the fraudsters can access the information they have on their devices.

  • Do not activate the option to share screen with unknown numbers
  • Be cautious with suspicious links and messages
