In this case, the Ampere company has designed a new variant of the disc brake in the front wheel only. The scooter is expected to go on sale later this year. At present feedback is being taken from the customers regarding this.
Expect a disc brake variant to be introduced if more customers want it. But the price details of this disc drag scooter are not revealed but expect it to be slightly higher than the drum brake variant.
The drum brake variant of the scooter is currently priced at Rs 1.09 lakh ex-showroom. And Ampere is not just going to update the brakes but the company is also planning to make some changes completely.
Accordingly, Ampere has decided to bring touchscreen scooters and introduce connectivity options in its scooters. With this, Ampere believes that it can give tough competition to Ola and Ether in the market.
