Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Kyet said an additional 165 million won will be provided for the food security program.

The Singapore Food System and the A*STAR Science and Technology Research Organization will receive that additional funding.

The Food Security Program was launched in 2019.

It was started with an investment of 144 million silver.

Thirty out of thirty is Singapore’s goal.

By 2030, 30 percent of Singapore’s food needs are planned to be produced here.

300 million shillings are being invested along with the new investment for the food security program.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng said it shows our commitment to ensuring food security.

He was speaking last night at the Singapore International Food-Agriculture Week Dinner at Gardens by the Bay.
