An agreement on roles was reached between the Likud and Torah Judaism: this is the apparent division of the cases

by time news

Five days to the mandate: The Likud and Torah Judaism signed a job agreement this evening (Tuesday) after it became apparent that the coalition negotiations had stalled and the Likud were no longer so optimistic about the date of signing the job attachments.

After submitting the signatures to replace him, these are the Likud’s candidates for the position of Speaker of the Knesset

According to the agreement that was signed as mentioned, “the issue of the positions is closed” because an extension had to be requested from the President of the State Yitzhak Herzog, and tomorrow the parties will continue negotiations on the fundamental issues. The essential issues that still remain in dispute are recruiting, comparing the ultra-Orthodox education budget and more.

And these are the roles:
MK Yitzhak Goldknopf – Minister of Construction and Housing.
MK Moshe Gafni – Chairman of the Finance Committee.
MK Uri Makalev – Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, will hold the development portfolio and will also serve as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Transportation.
MK Meir Proosh – Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Tradition.
MK Yaakov Tesler – Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Welfare or another ministry to be agreed upon with the Prime Minister.
MK Yaakov Asher – Chairman of the Interior and Environmental Protection Committee.
MK Israel Eichler – Chairman of the Labor and Welfare Committee.
MK Yitzchak Pindros – Chairman of the Public Inquiries Committee.

Before the signing of the agreement, there were disputes between the parties, which arose from two reasons. The first – Shas’ opposition to the Torah Judaism party’s demand for the position of deputy minister of welfare for Knesset member Yaakov Tesler, claiming that they have already received the chairmanship of the welfare committee in the Knesset. The second – in Torah Judaism they demand a right of veto in the appointments of the city rabbis and members of the religious councils, in Shas they strongly oppose .

Yesterday, Netanyahu and Knesset member Yariv Levin admitted to Knesset member Moshe Gafni that they made a mistake, and that the members of the Torah Flag party on the Torah Judaism list were right in their demand against the Reforms Committee and the infrastructure issue. The two promised that they would work with the chairman of Religious Zionism, Knesset member Bezalel Smotrich, to sort this out. Torah Judaism said that they do not intend to sign an annex of duties similar to the rest of the partnership, and will sign a full agreement. For them, there are more junctions on the way to “jamming” the train the government if they ask you to.
