The Central Service for the Protection of Vulnerable Persons (SCPPV) presented on the morning of this Monday, July 17 an alleged perpetrator of rape followed by pregnancy on a minor.
This is a 44-year-old individual who abused a 14-year-old girl who is friends with his daughters. The victim, often frequenting his tormentor to watch TV, had his misfortune the day after the Ramadan celebrations in the Simbaya district. Other abuses followed by death threats against the same victim were subsequently committed by the same person in the same place.
The respondent acknowledges the facts with which he is charged and has been sent to be presented to the Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Mafanco in order to answer for his actions.
The Gendarmerie asks parents to kindly monitor the dating of young girls because it is generally people close to them who abuse them.
In addition, it asks all victims or families of victims to inform as quickly as possible through the SCPPV fleet number, 666 90 22 09 or the toll-free number of the High Command Operations Center on 122, when such acts are committed in order to enable us to put the perpetrators out of harm’s way.
