Washington | American dies after dog accidentally steps on gun barrel The tragic incident took place while he was hunting with his dog.

The gun was kept in the back of the truck. The young man was sitting in the front seat of the truck. The accident happened when the dog behind the truck accidentally stepped on the trigger of the gun while running and playing.

The seriously injured youth died on the spot. Police did not say whether the deceased was the owner of the dog. Police sources said a thorough search is underway.
