The success of rural tourism has been confirmed since the health crisis. How to make the campaign more attractive for families with children? Head for an amusement park located in the heart of nature, in the North.
In Liessies (Nord), a family struggles to find their way through a corn maze. Fortunately, 10-year-old Enzo finds the clues. At the end of the path, there is an ephemeral amusement park, installed on a farm. A laser tag, made with the means at hand, has been installed there. “It’s great for the little ones, they love it”, says a mother. “Sometimes the game is over, and they want to play again right away“, testifies an employee.
There are many activities: ax throwing, go-karts, and even bubble football. An outdoor center was seduced by the diversity of activities. The park has been coming to life every summer for four years. The season is already breaking records, with 4,000 visitors in one month. “The objective, in fact, is to introduce agritourism to as many people as possible. To show that we can also have fun in the countryside, with simple things“, explains David Mabille, amusement park manager. The park will be open until September 1st.
