CDB Dayton, part of Element (see box), is developing a system for automated optical detection of defects in microelectronic products, including the creation of a controlled robotic design and software, a representative of the parent company confirmed: “This is a new product for the domestic market. The creation of such a solution allows, with an increase in the output volume, to reduce machine learning times by improving the sampling technologies of products with defects, to increase the precision in identifying products of high quality compared to the visual inspection of a technologist and optimize the production costs of the electronic component base.
