An application for online monitoring of incidents will be created in Moscow

GKU “Information City”, subordinated to the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow, on February 9 signed a contract with “KAMA Technologies” to develop a mobile application “Summary” for monitoring the criminogenic situation in the capital, according to the data of the State Procurement portal, which drew the attention of “Kommersant”.

The institution signed a contract with the company to finalize the “Information and analytical system for monitoring the criminogenic situation and public security.” The contract amount is more than 158 million rubles. According to the terms of reference, the contractor must develop the Sudka mobile application within six months, in which the Moscow executive authorities will be able to receive online data on the level of crime and public safety.

The application will use Yandex.Maps and 2GIS data to help track incidents on the map. They can be distributed according to various parameters. The system will also collect data from Yandex Wordstat and Google Trends, which track user interest in specific topics.

The crime situation monitoring system was created in Moscow in 2016 for analysis and forecasting in the field of security. The system also displays notifications of public events that are received by the city government. It collects information from CCTV cameras, reflects up-to-date information on the number of accidents, crimes, incidents in public transport and offenses related to drugs, fires, floods and other emergencies.
