“You are arrested for stealing a bottle of Coke, you are going to the Russian compound with me”: A resident of East Jerusalem, in his 20s, was arrested by the police last night, after distributing videos in Tiktok in which he impersonated a police officer and abused an ultra-Orthodox disabled person

Police arrested a resident of Beit Hanina last night (Friday), in his 20s, following a video posted on the social network, in which he impersonated a police officer and abused a person with an ultra-Orthodox disability in Jerusalem.

The detainee, who was arrested in the swift and determined activity of the Central Unit in the Jerusalem District, is suspected of impersonating a police officer, emotionally abusing the disabled person and causing him great fear when he demands that he accompany him for questioning and informs him that he is under arrest.

The arrest was made after the police opened an investigation, following a video that was distributed on the social network ‘Tik Tuk’. The video recorded a resident of East Jerusalem laughing at an ultra-Orthodox disabled person, telling him that he was arrested for “stealing a bottle of Coke, you go with me to the Russian compound,” and that he should bring him an ID card – laughing at him and humiliating him.

In another documentary, the same documenting guy walks into a pharmacy on Bar Ilan Street and photographs how he pinches an ultra-Orthodox ear.

The suspect was questioned by police.
