An Argentine lawyer was shot to death by hitmen in his law firm in the town of Portoviejo, located in Ecuadorwhich is the capital of the province of Manabí.
The man was identified as Ignacio Leandro Beitía. ANDThere was a lawyer from Olavarria who lived in Ecuador and died in his office located on Avenida Manabí and Paulo Emilio Macías in that town near the coast of the city of Manta, almost 200 kilometers from Guayaquil.
According to the Ecuadorian media The newspaper, Two criminals arrived at the scene on a motorcycle and one of them went to the second floor of the building to attack the victim, who he was shot many times in the head which caused his death almost instantly. For his part, the aggressor escaped with his accomplice.
“OnLAB Clinical Laboratory, deeply shocked by the sensitive death of Mr. Ignacio Leandro Beitia, expresses its deep feeling of regret and solidarity to his distinguished familyespecially to Dr. Karla Solórzano Sabando and daughters,” the entity lamented.
In this sense, the Manabí Medical College expressed: “We extend our solidarity to family and friends of whom the Abg. was distinguished as a knight during his lifetime. Ignacio Leandro Beitia. Peace on his grave.”
