«An armchair for two», the atypical Christmas classic that conquered Italy in the 90s

For the Italian Christmas holidays “An Armchair for Two” is more classic than “The Grinch”, but in the rest of the world the film directed by John Landis with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd is not exactly a Christmas fixture. It all began in 1986 with the first broadcast in April on Canale 5. For about ten years the film reappeared at different times between spring and summer, but finally in 1996 it stabilized during the holiday period and was requisitioned by Italy 1.
