On Gab, a social media platform popular with white supremacists and anti-Semites, users have warned that they are getting ready for an armed revolution.

The FBI raid on Donald Trump’s mansion

The Republicans came out furious to denounce political persecution on Tuesday a few hours after Donald Trump himself denounced on Monday night that the FBI was in his house in Mar-a-Lago in Florida, while the Joe Biden government assured that He had found out about the raid on social media.

What do we know so far about the unprecedented raid? What did the FBI look for in Trump’s Palm Beach mansion?

As reported Tuesday by The New York Times, the search, according to several people familiar with the investigation, appeared to be focused on material that Trump had taken with him to Mar-a-Lago, his private club and residence, when he left the White House. Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents.

What information did those documents contain? The Times says they would include, among other things, classified material that Trump should not have taken, but rather turned over to the historical archive as required by law.

Republicans like Marco Rubio denounced an abuse of power by the Democratic administration just as Trump tries to re-launch the presidential campaign in 2024.

“Until tonight, we have never seen those who assume power use that power to persecute their past or future political opponents,” Senator Rubio said in a video released after the event was known.
