In the National Agrarian University of Armenia, with the support of AKBA Federation and “Yerevan Beer” CJSC, an innovative educational and experimental laboratory of brewing and distilling was launched.

Thanks to the cooperation, the laboratory and the adjacent area were repaired and furnished, a beer distillation line was purchased, as well as other necessary equipment and tools.

The new laboratory will serve not only the development of practical knowledge and skills of students studying at the National Agrarian University of Armenia, but will also provide an opportunity for training specialists in the field through various programs.

“The cooperation between us and the National Agrarian University of Armenia has a rich history. This time, the AKBA Federation joined the initiative to create a training laboratory for brewing and distilling in the university. We are sure that this laboratory will contribute to the training of professional specialists in the field, as well as become an incentive for establishing small productions in the field”, said Harutyun Poghosyan, General Director of “AKBA Federation” CJSC.

Rector of the National Agrarian University of Armenia Vardan Urutyan, thanking the AKBA Federation for being an ideologue and support, noted that the AKBA Federation is a long-term and reliable partner of the Agrarian University, which has always supported the development of agrarian education and the training of qualified personnel in the field of agriculture.
