For the first time, students will board a branded bus, to increase the cultivation of belonging to the community and a deep familiarity with the place
This is a project involving Netanya students between the ages of 3 and 18 (grades Kindergarten-12) in which the students participate in a “Netanya trip” and get to know the urban spaces and even influence them, when the tours are conducted under the guidance of the Netanya History Museum, the Netanya Academic College, the Plannetanya Center Science, Space and Culture, Beit Habar, the Center for Road Safety, the Department for the Environment, as well as the “Foundations Association”.
According to Etti Dahan, the head of the education director who conceived the trip, “On the trip, you learn differently: you tour 24 significant stations and experience activities that include dealing with issues of sustainability, environment, history, heritage, science, society, and more. All the stations also deal with the 17 goals of the “and lead the students to active action.”
