BarcelonaTragic week in the motor world. This Friday, the death of Mathis Bellon, a young eight-year-old driver, was confirmed after he suffered a serious accident on July 22 while training at the Ala Karting circuit, a few kilometers from the Italian city of Trento. Bellon had a mild fall during practice, but when he was on the ground another rider ran over him. Although he was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident, the doctors could not do anything to save his life. This loss again hits a motoring world that just under ten days ago already lost eleven-year-old rider Millar Buchanan during motocross training at a circuit in the United Kingdom. Motorcycling has been totally shocked by the news. In fact, the current MotoGP world champion, Fabio Quartararo, Bellon’s compatriot, has been one of the first to express his condolences to the young rider’s family.
