An armed man has killed shot this Monday afternoon a member of the faculty of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, after which the suspect has been detained by the authorities. The suspect, identified as Tailei Qi, has been arrested around 3:15 p.m. (local time) after the Police asked the students and workers several hours earlier to lock themselves in the classrooms of the building. Qi is a college graduate student who also attended Louisiana State University and Wuhan University in China, according to the academic institution on its website.
