Exhibition of the Moscow State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin opened at the Deineka Gallery in Kursk on 17 September. The important event for the city was attended by the head of the region Roman Starovoit.

The exposition was named “Subject – Image – Meaning. Western European Still Life of the 17th-19th Centuries “. It presents 40 paintings by famous masters of Holland, Flanders, Italy, France and Germany. In addition, six works belonging to the funds of the Kursk gallery are exhibited.

This exhibition became the third project of the Pushkin Museum, which was implemented within the framework of the Art, Science and Sport program. Earlier, “Moskovsky Komsomolets in Chernozemye” reported that the residents of Kursk could get acquainted with the unique exposition until November 7.
