An illegal consignment of cigarettes worth 15 million rubles was seized in Sevastopol

A 31-year-old local resident tried to sell unmarked tobacco products in Sevastopol.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, said that he was detained by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.

During searches in rented garages, in a car and in five shopping pavilions, the police found more than 147 thousand packs of cigarettes worth more than 15 million rubles.

At the place of residence, 900 thousand rubles, computer equipment, electronic media were seized. A written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior was taken from the detainee.
