Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 1996, when he was only 36 years old. None of the available treatments are effective. But two years ago, the sixty-year-old from Bordeaux was chosen to be the first beneficiary of an implant developed by Swiss and French teams, as part of a clinical trial.
