During Shabbat, many rockets were fired at Israel, when parked cars were hit in Ashkelon, rockets fell into the sea off the coast of the center, near a kibbutz in the Eshkol Regional Council, a fire broke out following the fall of a mortar bomb and a rocket directly hit a house in Sderot.
After the launches and alarms in Gush Dan and the central area, many citizens complained that the sirens warning of a possible fall of a rocket were not working. However, the Home Front Command emphasizes that the alarms work in a differential manner, that is, only in neighborhoods where there is a fear of a rocket falling or fragments of an interception, this in order to allow a maximum routine of life. In recent years, the IDF has increased the number of warning zones and now they stand at 1,800.

Home Front Command instructions for those staying in the building
Enter a protected space according to the ability to reach it during the defensive time available to you and the existing protection in your environment, according to the following order of priorities:
• MMD (residential protected area), MMC (storey protected area), MMM (institutional protected area), or a shelter – Close the door by turning the handle at an angle of 90 degrees and make sure that the outer steel window and the inner glass window are closed.
• Internal staircase – Without windows, openings and external walls. Sit on stairs and not in the floor space. In a building over three floors – you must stay in a staircase that has at least two floors above it. In a building under three floors – you must stay on the middle floor.
• inner room – with as few external walls, windows and openings as possible. Sit in an inner corner, under a line of windows and not in front of the door. A kitchen, shower or toilet cannot be used as an internal room.
Instructions from the Home Front Command for those staying in a car
• Stop on the side of the road, get out of the vehicle and enter a shelter or stairwell in a nearby building.
• If it is not possible to reach the building in the time period available to you – get out and move away from the vehicle beyond the edge of the road or the separation fence, lie on the ground and protect your head with your hands.
• Only if it is not possible to get out of the vehicle, stop on the side of the road and crouch under the window line.
