A panel discussion was held this evening with the plastic artist Ihsan Entebbe as part of the celebration (Love is not a word). In its third edition, in Mustafa Ali Gallery.

The symposium moderated by the critic Saad Al-Qasim, in which the artist Entebbe talked about his artistic experience since his beginnings, the stages he went through, and presented his thoughts on art and teaching, and his academic journey as a student and then as a professor and administrator.

A number of attendees touched on the stories and memories that brought them together with the celebrated artist, which showed his great role in enriching the awareness, thought and orientation of his students during his long years of giving, and his winning of the State Appreciation Award, which is the highest award in the field of culture.

The artist, Dr. Entabi, explained in a statement to the cultural SANA that art is a spiritual relationship between man and society, and it is a historical topic related to the building of man, starting from the history of art and civilizations and ending with the modern era.

Entabi pointed out that every dialogue between intellectuals is linked to the characteristics of the era in which it is raised, because the nature of man evolves with time, and the artist is by nature the son of his age, and his experience comes as a mixture between the culture of the time to which he belongs and his individual intellectual features.

For his part, sculptor Mustafa Ali saw the symposium as an opportunity to get acquainted with the personality of the artist Entebbe as a teacher who has a distinctive expressive power.

It is noteworthy that the celebration started yesterday through an art exhibition at Mustafa Ali Gallery, in which a number of veteran plastic artists participated.
