The announcements came after Mohamed VI chaired a working meeting on Thursday at the Royal Palace to activate the emergency program for the relocation of victims of the earthquake, which had its epicenter in the province of Al Haouz, in the region. of the High Atlas.

The program consists of both the urgent temporary relocation of those affected and the granting of emergency aid of up to 30,000 dirhams (more than 2,700 euros) to affected families. The Alawite monarch has stressed the extremely urgent nature of these measures.
