An Iraqi refereeing group to guide a match within the 2026 World Cup qualifiers

/ On Thursday, the Referees Committee of the Asian Soccer Confederation appointed an Iraqi refereeing group to guide the match between the UAE and Yemen nationwide groups within the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Nations Cup.

The refereeing group consisted of Muhannad Qassem, an enviornment referee assisted by Wathiq Mudalal and Ahmed Sabah, whereas referee Youssef Saeed would be the fourth referee for the match scheduled within the Emirates on the twenty first of subsequent March.

As we speak, Thursday, the Asian Soccer Confederation’s Referees Committee appointed worldwide referee Zaid Thamer to be a part of the refereeing group for the Tajikistan-Saudi nationwide group match.
