The Security Media Cell announced the seizure of an ISIS hideout containing 3 small photographic drones west of Anbar
The cell stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “a force from the 57th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces within the Anbar Operations Command and in a joint operation with the Al-Jazeera Operations Command was able to seize a new hostel for the remnants of the terrorist ISIS, which includes (3) small photographic drones west of Anbar.”
She added, “The operation was carried out based on intelligence information and careful follow-up, which resulted in the discovery of the facility used by terrorists to manage their activities in those areas. It also resulted in the discovery of mortar bombs from war remnants that ISIS members use in their terrorist attacks against civilians and security forces.” “
She pointed out that “the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Iraqi army continue to track the remnants of the terrorist ISIS and tighten the noose around them to prevent them from trying to revive their activity by exploiting desert and remote areas.”
