Ron Ben Yishai and Lee Lieberman Recorded an impressive achievement tonight (Saturday) when they qualified for the semi-finals of the World Championship round competition in Puccivelli. The Israeli pair won three games in a row, securing the next stage in one of the prestigious tournaments of the Puccivoli branch in Brazil.
Ben Yishai and Lieberman, the leading Israeli pair, will next meet a pair of strong Brazilians from the top of the Puccivoli world (the semi-final matches have not yet been determined), when today they won 0:2 over pairs from the USA, Argentina and Italy. Maor HaasBen Shai’s original partner, together with Ron took the European Championship about a year ago and the Israeli Championship last summer, and so far in the Lieberman tournament he has proven himself to be a worthy replacement.
