The Conqueror continues to warm up engines. And it is that the promising space of TVE, one of the great bets of the public channel for autumn, has given new clues as to where the adventure of the 33 participants who will face each other in the Haitises de la República National Park will take place. Dominican. There, in a totally hostile environment, they will have to face endless challenges and tests that will put their resistance to the limit, both physically and mentally. And all in extreme conditions, even unfriendly animals (cockatoos, snakes, etc.).
New contestants of El Conquistador
Once Julian Iantzi and Raquel Sánchez Silva have been confirmed as presenters, TVE’s El Conquistador has begun to reveal the names of the contestants. Yesterday I presented Agustí, a Catalan who considers himself a nomad and who considers himself a “conqueror of hearts”; Mireia, a 36-year-old surfer from Valencia who will take part in the contest with an amputated leg; and Jaime, alias Polvillo, who “comes for all and leaves no puppet with a head.” However, the one who promises to make people talk the most is Amaya Blanco, alias ‘Amayita’, a Gipuzkoan who defines herself as “little but a bully” and who relies on her “clubs” to take glory.
In the last hours El Conquistador from TVE has presented the identity of more adventurers. And, curiously, there is one who has a striking past in El Conquis, a space on ETB2 in which he repeated on several occasions and in which his behavior and particular personality left no one indifferent. That is David Seco, a 50-year-old ex-cyclist from Busturia (Bizkaia), who can boast of having achieved the ikurriña in the successful adventure reality show on the Basque regional channel.

In his presentation, David Seco himself has once again shown himself to be very sure of his chances in the new competition. «It has been 12 years since I was a contestant (in El Conquis), I won five duels, I won the adventure … and little less than I was unbeatable. Yes, he was unbeatable », he affirms in his staging. Not content with this, the ex-cyclist continues to boast arguments to qualify as one of the great favorites for victory in El Conquistador. «The tenth edition I was captain and, why not say it, I have also been the p. boss as captain », he assures, before announcing his great motto in the competition:« Win, win or win. And at this point we are not going to get off the boat, right?
If David Seco will not lack something in the adventure reality show, it will be experience, a variable that can be an advantage throughout his participation in El Conquistador. Of course, he is clear that he will not share it with his colleagues. «The experience that I have accumulated in the program is mine and for me. If I tell those next to me everything I know, they end up knowing the same as me. Let them go to school and learn”, he assures, confident that in the adventure for him there will not be “enough toughness”. And to top it off, he issues a notice to sailors, a whole declaration of intent: “Be careful with the old man, with the veteran, because he will make it very difficult for him.”
