At the TVI Summer Party, which took place on the 6th, Ana Guiomar spoke with the press and at one point made a confession.
“I’m going to tell you the biggest nonsense I did this year,” she introduced.
“I gave my siblings a trip to New York for Christmas. We could only go in August. And I am very regretful, because it’s a place where you don’t go tired. And I have already told them two or three times that we should go, I don’t know, to the Maldives, the Caribbean, or the Algarve. No, I did the biggest nonsense of my life,” she said.
“My vacation will be five days in New York with my siblings and then I will stay here, because I don’t really like going abroad in August. I like to enjoy the country we have, which is that cliché that people say, but it’s really true! Our beaches are amazing, and I like to stay here,” Ana Guiomar continued.
Finally, the actress revealed that Diogo Valsassina will not be going to New York. “It’s a trip just for siblings. In fact, there is a WhatsApp group for this trip. Diogo has been following the conversations and just says, ‘I’m not going on that trip.’ My brothers are both very different, and I think this could lead to, perhaps, there’s the soap opera ‘Festa é Festa’ and now there will be a ‘Férias são Férias’,” she concluded with laughter.
