It’s barely March and Ana Obregón has starred in one of the most surprising news of the year. The 68-year-old actress, presenter and producer has been the surrogate mother of a girl. This would be the second daughter of the also biologist, after Aless Lequio, the son she had with Alessandro Lecquio and who died in May 2020, at just 27 years old, due to cancer.

The bomb news was given on March 28 by the magazine ¡Hola!, which has advanced its cover, which it launches every Wednesday morning, on Tuesday night, at the stroke of midnight. The caliber of the exclusive achieved by the well-known gossip magazine deserved it. In the photograph that illustrates it, Obregón leaves through the doors of the medical center, located in Miami, Florida, with the girl in her arms.

As the header explains in the report that accompanies the photograph, the artist went to the American city to pick up the girl a few days ago, and spent four days alone in the city waiting for the birth. March 18 was her 68th birthday. On March 20 the girl was born and then she could be seen entering her center, and on the 22nd she left with the little girl in her arms. At the moment her name is unknown.

The magazine assures that the actress left the medical center, the Memorial Regional Hospital in Miami, one of the largest in Florida, in a wheelchair (as can be seen in the photo), since the protocol mandates it, and that she was escorted by a nurse to her car, where she and the girl drove away. As they explain, Obregón has rented an apartment with sea views to spend the first days there with the newborn and when she finishes all the legal procedures she will return to Spain. Only Ana herself, her sisters, Celia and Amalia, and her ex-partner and father of her son, Alessandro Lecquio, knew of this decision.

The last five years have been the most difficult in the life of the eternally talkative Ana Obregón. At the beginning of 2018, her son was diagnosed with cancer that they tried to cure halfway between Spain and the United States, and from which she finally died, in May 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, which made her grieve practically alone. A year later, her mother, Ana María Obregón Navarro, died at the age of 95. Finally, last September she was also left without her father, the businessman Antonio García Fernández, who died at the age of 96.

During these three hard years, Obregón has taken refuge in work. She returned to television presenting the Campanadas de Televisión Española, something she has done in 2020 and 2022 (in 2021 she was prevented from being sick with covid). In addition, she has participated in other programs, such as Mask Singer, and has begun to prepare a series about his own life. In addition, just a few weeks ago he announced that he would launch a book that his son could not finish writing and at the beginning of February he launched a foundation that bears the name of his eldest son and whose objective is to finance research against cancer. She now has a new and much more important task to add to her list.
