Ana Rosa is about to complete her first month at the helm of ‘TardeAR’, Telecinco’s new afternoon program after the cancellation of ‘Sálvame’, the presenter takes stock of the results obtained. Some good numbers but behind those of ‘And now Sonsoles’, by Sonsoles Ónega, dominator of the strip. “The afternoons are complicated,” she admits, although optimistic.
Both programs have one less competitor, since TVE has put an end to the broadcasts of ‘La plaza’, the space hosted by Jordi González, who has not resisted the attacks of his two professional colleagues. During the first week (September 25-29) ‘And Now Sonsoles’ achieved 11.9% share and 852,000 viewers. Same percentage as from October 2 to 6, although with 17,000 fewer viewers.
For its part, ‘TardeAR’ is behind but on the rise. From 10% and 769,000 viewers it has gone to 10.4% and 774,000 viewers. «We must ask that people get to know him little by little. There are five magazines at the same time, now four, and you have to make time for yourself,” insists without concern the one who was one of the queens of the mornings. Regarding this change in routine, she stops: «I am adapting and little by little. Even adapting to schedules changes everything.” Regarding the program, she acknowledges that “I really like what we have done. I’m happy”.
