The current season in La Liga has not started well for the current champions Real Madrid. They had to lose points in two of the first three matches. They are 4 points behind arch-rivals Barcelona in the top spot. But Real coach Carlo Ancelotti is not worried about that. He announced the fight till the end of the season.
Real’s next match in the league is Sunday. Ancelotti spoke at the press conference before taking the field against Real Betis. He doesn’t consider the point difference with Barcelona to be anything. Instead, Ancelotti expressed disappointment with his team’s performance.
Real boss said, ‘No, we are not worried at all. We will fight to the end. There is no doubt about it. We’re not happy, but it’s not because we’re four points behind, it’s because we didn’t play well. The season is too long and the difference now doesn’t mean much.’
Real started with a win in the current La Liga. After a 3-0 win against Rayo Vayodali, they did not see the face of victory again. They drew 1-1 against Mallorca and Las Palmas in the remaining two matches. New players Kylian Mbappe and Andric are unable to match themselves.
Real is now fifth in the league table with 5 points. Last season’s runner-up Barcelona is on top with 9 points after winning three of the three matches. However, Ancelotti is confident of bridging the gap with the Catalan club in the long season ahead.
