The representatives of the political parties in Vratsa did not agree on the leadership of the RIC during the consultations with the regional governor, and because of this the commission will be appointed ex officio by the CEC. RIC in Vratsa will have 13 members. Four are from GERB – SDS, three each from PP-DB and “Vazrazhdane”, one each from DPS, “BSP for Bulgaria” and “There is such a people”.
GERB – SDS proposed the lawyer Lora Mladenova – Atanasova as chairman. For members – Siliya Ivanova, Irena Nikolova and Galina Georgieva. PP-DB proposed Svetlana Georgieva as chairman and two members – Marin Vrabchev and Krasimir Kolev. From the “Vazrazhdane” party, Ivo Frantsov was asked for chairman and Petya Kirilova and Georgi Petrov for members.
Two alternative proposals, one from each authorized representative of the DPS, were made for the secretary position. From the BSP they want a place for secretary or deputy chairman, and from the ITN party – that the position of deputy chairman be filled by their representative. Of the parties represented in the parliament, only RIC in Vratsa agreed to have four vice-presidents.
