In order to continue working so that the supply of drinking water continues to reach more Salvadoran homes in quantity and quality, the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA), inaugurated a well at the Altos del Cerro Pumping Plant, Soyapango.
With this inauguration ANDA will reinforce the service to more than 12,500 inhabitants of the municipality of Soyapango, in San Salvador, who for decades suffered irregularities in the supply.
“The technical team drilled another well that will increase production in the area. We will ensure this liquid in quantity and quality to several homes,” said the president of the autonomous community, Rubén Alemán.
Among the main works carried out are the drilling of the well and its complete equipment, improvements to the pumping plant facilities, expansion of the booth and the construction of a cistern with a capacity to store 70 m3 of water.
With these works carried out by the ANDA technical team, the main benefited neighborhoods are Ciudad Credisa, Amatepec, Jardines del Cerro, Altos del Cerro, San Rafael, San Antonio Buena Vista, Montecarmelo 1 and 2; Amatepec community, condominiums: Amatepec, Altos del Cerro; Valle Buena Vista urbanization, among others.
