The councilor was also there Jürgen Wirth Anderlan (Jwa) at the demonstration for the «remigration» in Vienna on July 20th. «Remigration», a concept typical of the extreme right in the German area, would consist in the forced expulsion of asylum seekers, regular immigrants e “non-assimilated” citizens of foreign origin (so said the Austrian extremist Martin Sellner).
“I support remigration – explains Wirth Anderlan – because I want our women and daughters to be able to walk around peacefully in the evening without being afraid, because the homeland is that place where one feels good and safe. Many people, however, no longer feel safe”.
The Left die Linke condemns the radical right-wing rally in Vienna “in which South Tyrolean politicians also participated”, it reports. “The presence of Jwa members, marching side by side with Casapound members, highlights a worrying hypocrisy”, says the Left, “it is essential that we intervene on our territory to monitor and, if necessary, sanction and exclude from political life all those organizations that promote hatred and division”.
The group hopes for a clear distancing by all democratic forces in South Tyrol.
