Andrei Zviaguintsev opens up about the war in Ukraine and his recovery from Covid-19

In a video uploaded on May 12, the Russian filmmaker speaks publicly for the first time since contracting a severe form of Covid-19 in June 2021. For nearly two hours, he answers questions from ‘Anton Doline, a renowned Russian critic, who moved to Riga (Latvia) after the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014. Broadcast on his YouTube channel “Radio Doline”, the interview took place in Hanover, the German city where Zvyagintsev was operated on and is recovering.
