In the group, the Latvians beat the Georgian volleyball players Daviti Gumberidzi and Nikolozi Chadaja with 2-0 (21:14, 21:12), the British duet Louis Banton/Bailey Harsam with 2-0 (21:16, 21:16), but with 0- 2 (21:23, 19:21) lost to the Swiss Livio Fridli and Andrín Kolb (13th), ranking second in the group.

In the women’s tournament, Runce/Gintere beat Norway’s Stini Finholt and Katrīna Jeltnes 2-0 (21:18, 21:16) in the group, and lost to the Austrian pair Lia Berger/Lilli Hoenauer with 0-2 (17:21, 18:21) and with 2-0 (21:16, 21:9) convincingly won the English pair Alice Jagelska/Molly Quinn, taking the second place in the group.
In the playoff tournament, Runce/Gintere defeated Serbia’s Djurdja Torbic and Irena Validzic 2-0 (21:13, 21:2), but lost to Switzerland’s Linda Abīla and Livija Stolca 0-2 (18:21, 16:21) and with 1-2 (21:12, 19:21, 12:15) – Belgian pair Lotte de Klerk/Anneline Fairflute, winning a shared 13th place.
In Georgia, Andrejev/Duden earned 210 world ranking points and Runce/Gintere – 90 world ranking points.
